Champion Sarron Sunset Surfbreaker CGC

"Breaker"

DN120959/01
Bred By: Sherri Wilmoth and April Albert
OFA: BSD-3478G27M-PI  Hips - Good, Elbows - Left-Normal, Right-DJD1 .
*****DJD I means that Breaker has some minor osteophytes (like bone spurs) around his right elbow. It DOES NOT MEAN that he has any luxation at that joint. Breaker's OFA Preliminary findings that was done on him at one year old by Sherri showed that he had good hips and normal elbows. After we got him at 18 months old he  suffered a trauma to his right elbow on our deck stairs. Jipsi and Breaker were chasing each other and I saw Jipsi just literally run over Breaker and he fell all the way down at least 5 stairs and hit the concrete below. He got up and was limping for about two or three weeks....I didn't take him to the vet because it would sometimes seem not as bad as other times and he could still walk so I figured that it wasn't broken. That's when the osteophytes could have developed. We can't be certain that his elbow issues were trauma related but I feel that it could have happened on my watch seeing that he was clear when he came to us. Sherri and I have discussed this and have decided to use him for breeding because he has so much to offer.

A very Special Thanks to Sherri Wilmoth for allowing Breaker to come to us here in Missouri. Sherri has co-ownership with us and her input will be invaluable. He flew into Missouri in a horrible Thunderstorm and he came bounding out of his crate with lots of Kisses. We are so excited with him and both of my girls are enjoying having a boy around. Jipsi likes to have her nephew run and chase Squirrels with her. Yes, she is teaching him and he loves it. Breezy likes having someone else around so that it takes Jipsi's attention. (grin)
Breaker was picked for Sherri by Pat Johnson (Johnsondale Belgians) and Dennette Cockley (Sumerwynd Belgians) and we feel very privileged to be able to share in his life as co-owner of him.
Pete is looking forward to continuing Breakers show career. Sherri has done great with him where he has won 3rd place in the 6-9 month Puppy Class at the 2006 BSCA National in Oklahoma and Breaker and Sherri won 1st place in the Bred-By class at the 2007 BSCA National this April in Maryland.
